Oh goodness, that is TOO cute!! ;) Priceless! Who is that in the background? He totally reminds me of my great-grandpa! I love looking at old pictures.

I was just asking my sister the other day at what age we really started liking horses. We really couldn't recall, except we do remember it seemed to start when we moved to a place that had a neighbor with horses that gave riding lessons. I think I was around 8, and she was around 6.

Hi,

The pictures are adorable :-)

And thanks for the link to my site - (Anti) Social Development. I really appreciate it.

Your pics are so cute! That one on your Wonder Horse made me gasp - I used to have one just like that when I was little. I remember my mom telling me that I used to bounce on it, never rock like most kids did (imagine that?) and that I bounced so much that I rubbed the insides of my thighs raw and used to fall asleep on my horse. Whenever they would try to take me off, I'd wake up and cry because I wanted to stay where I was. Thanks for the memory!

PG, That was my grandfather on my mom’s side.

I got the horse-crazy gene from my mom, but we never had horses when I was a kid. Many of my friends and one of our neighbors did. Thankfully, they all let me ride their horses and ponies. And now, I am the only one left I think that has horses. Most of them got out of horses when they went off to college.

I really need to find a picture from when I was about 6 on the neighbors’ Shetland pony Misty.

Kim, you are very welcome!

Thanks C-ing. I am pretty sure I was a rocker and not so much a bouncer. I wanted to go FAST! Some things never change.

I’ll dig up some pictures of Little Cowboy soon. You thought mine were cute...wait ‘til you see his!
